Canadian motocross star Tyler Medaglia beat out fellow
Husqvarna rider Josh Strang. Both would retire from the race
shortly after this picture—Medaglia with an ankle injury and
Strang succumbing to the pain of a shoulder injury suffered
during a practice crash earlier in the week.
In the Women’s class, KTM’s Kacy Martinez returned to her
winning ways, taking the checkered flag ahead of previous-round winner AmPro Yamaha’s Jessica Patterson. Brooke
Cosner put her Husqvarna on the podium in third.
