TECH 2 MXC:
proved that he still has some life, and Cooper Webb raced smooth, strong
and in control, showing that he does have a modicum of patience. In the
end a strong MX2 class was peppered with American talent, and Troy Lee
Designs’ Jesse Nelson excited a new fan base and showed that he has the
heart and the speed to make a statement.
Will GP racing ever win back the American fan? Probably not, but talent
on their side has a way of getting the blood boiling, especially if we keep
getting upstaged. And this has a way of igniting excitement and passion.
(One can only hope.) Now here’s a look at the racing, and thanks to Glen
Helen and the racers for putting on a fantastic show. ❏

and, through consistency, wrapped up his first world
title in MX2.
Pro Circuit’s Chris Alldredge
battled hard for second place in
MX2 moto one, then got together
with Thomas Covington in moto
two and finished 13th. That made
for sixth overall.
