The engine features a full GYTR high-performance
head and cams. This isn’t a modified stocker; it’s a complete bolt-on replacement featuring CNC-machined valve
ports, seats, etc., so that every one is exactly the same.
These parts can only be purchased from a Yamaha dealer—in this case through Mach1Motorsports.com.
The bike is fit

complete GYTR clutch is used that features
a billet basket, inner hub, and a very high-tech pressure plate unlike any other.
Dick’s Racing’s exclusive mid-valve system helps
hold up the forks to reduce dive under braking and
prevent blow-through. The compression valving is
beefed up and converted to a multi-stage design that
remains plush yet firm. Ultra-low-friction seals
and scrapers are used to reduce drag
and leakage. Push-button air
bleeders get rid of built-up
pressure during transport
a n d races.
Dick’s chose a GPR steering damper to keep it stable at speed and reduce deflection in the
rocks and roots. The damper mounts to a Fastway adjustable unit that allows for different bar
positions and serves as the attachment point for their handguards, allowing the bars to flex the
way they were designed to. Renthal Fat Bars with vibration eliminators reduce rattle. A Works
Connection clutch perch assembly was added to ease the pull at the lever.
