tracks with the Lucas Oil truck racing facility and sections of dirt road,
pavement and singletrack. This year
it turned into a grueling ordeal with
deep silt and monstrous whoops.
Oddly enough, the sections that were
the most difficult at the beginning
were in the best shape at the end,
mostly because of the lower speeds
in those areas. There were several
new sections that had never been run
before in any race.
Regardless of all the new aspects
of this year’s event, it was once again
the JCR Honda team that came out
on top in the end. The KTM team suf-
David Kamo joined Colton Udall, Ryan Dudek and Tim Weigand to win the John Burr
24 Hours of Glen Helen. Again.
Mike Brown made a trip to California to join team Zip-Ty Racing on a KTM 450XC.
He was joined by Ty Davis, Gary Sutherlin and Bobby Garrison.
Brian Adams was the toughest ironman, completing 45 laps with hardly a stop.
