Let’s face it; racing isn’t pretty, especially not on the West Coast. We’ve been herded into bleak places that no one
else wants—notwithstanding the occasional expansion of
military bombing ranges. The Sand Hollow round of WORCS
isn’t like that. It takes place in the dunes of Hurricane,
Utah, where the red tint of the sand makes a sharp contrast
against the deep-blue color of Sand Hollow Reservoir. It’s a
place you want to be, whether or not there’s a race.
Robby Bell was the fastest man at the Sand Hollow WORCS
race, but crashed twice on the final lap.
