MADMEN AND THEIR MACHINES
cations. Race Tech knows exactly
what to do for the Super Tenere.
There are a number of different configurations that can be had depending
on the dirt/street ratio for any given
COMFORT: The most important
accessories, in our opinion, are heated grips. Todd’s came from Twisted
Throttle (Oxford Heaterz), which are
priced well at $80 a set. Twisted also
supplied the taller Givi windscreen

came from Touratech.
There are a number of other odds
and ends, like the really loud
Screaming Banshee horn, the Kaoko
throttle lock and the Pep Boys blind-spot mirrors. He’s ridden the bike off-road a few times, but his real baptism
will come in Baja. We think Todd and
his Yamaha will do just fine, but we’re
still waiting for our invitation. ;
The Yamaha Super Tenere already
comes with good handguards and nice
touches in stock form.
