INSTALLING EVANS WATERLESS
Remove the radiator cap. Open the water-pump drain. This is
usually an 8mm-head bolt accompanied by a copper washer.
Be sure to have a drain pan ready, as coolant will start draining immediately.
To complete this install you will need the following: 8mm
wrench or T-handle, flathead screwdriver, air compressor or
blower, catch container for fluids, Evans Prep Fluid and Evans
Pull the radiator hose off at the water pump. This will
allow more air to flow.
You can use a blower to push remaining antifreeze out or
an air compressor will work, too, but be gentle, because
you don’t want too much pressure in the system. Blow
air until antifreeze stops spitting out. You might squeeze
hoses closed to force air to take various routes. Put your
thumb over the pump intake to force more air through
