Circuit suspension came in its ability to
stay planted, up and be far less divey. This
equaled more control, smoother action and
better track speeds.
The PC link arm helps the rear end
settle better and give a more responsive
feel under acceleration.
One key area where the KX450F is
flimsy is in the driveline. The swingarm pad is soft and wears quickly. By
switching to a TM Designworks unit,
the problem evaporated.
The stock grips were not loved; all
praised the ODI lock-ons.

about half of high-end aftermarket
