As for the shock changes, MX1 valves it for smoother initial action and adds high-speed compression damping to
aid in bottoming resistance. MX1 also updates the rebound
damping to match KTM’s stiffer 4. 5 N/m rear spring. ❏

MX1 adds a swivel valve to the
air fork, making it easier to
add air, and re-valves the fork
because they feel it is fairly
plush but needs to be more
planted. To help it hold a line,
they added low-speed com-
pression and rebound damping.
