We came real close to racing the 250 XCF-W. This machine
has been dramatically improved via the new frame, new suspension and a motor that rips.
The 250 XCF-W doesn’t have the 350s roll-on, but stab the
clutch and let it sing and you’ll realize the potential of the
machine. Webb said if he were 20-pounds lighter…yeah right.;
The 250 XC-W received the same mods as the 300 in the Boyesen
reeds, ignition, cylinder head work and carburetor settings. New
is a stronger battery for quicker button starts that help draw fire
to what savvy enduro racers call the full cheater bike.
Both the 250 and 300 have a kick and button start and run
6-speed wide ratio gearboxes.
KTM brought out the editors from most of the enthusiast
press and let them swing a leg over a big chunk of their
