NOVEMBER 2013 / DIRT BIKE 95
At the start, Robert squeaked out
Justin Jones, but Bell was in front
that no one seemed to want, while
Jones recovered for third ahead of Ty
Renshaw. Bell, however, still had a
point to prove. After fixing his throttle,
he returned to the race and set the
fastest times, lap after lap. At one
time or another, he actually passed all
top contenders, except Robert. Bell
was simply a lap behind.
So with two rounds remaining, Bell
will have to concentrate on turning his
points lead into a number-one plate.
If he finishes both races, he’ll be a
champion, while Garrison and Jones
are in a headlock for second. Will
Robert show up? Bell wants nothing
Robby Bell has roots in the WORCS
races, but he’s now battling a legend.
